Canada is an important oil and gas producer. TechnipFMC provides a comprehensive range of engineering, technologies, products and services to support local industry needs.
As the country with the third largest oil reserves in the world, Canada boasts a wide and exciting range of opportunities for our Subsea, Onshore/Offshore and Surface technologies.
TechnipFMC has built a strong and deserved reputation for technological excellence in a challenging environment. We maintain a focus on early engagement, offering execution of end-to-end integrated projects or delivery of discrete solutions based on client needs.
We have been active in Canada since 1997 and have no less than eight facilities in the country.
One of our most important recent project awards, made in 2017, is an Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Installation (EPCI) contract from Husky Energy for the West White Rose Project east of St John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.
This covers the supply and installation of subsea equipment including tie-in manifolds, flexible flowlines and control umbilicals which will connect the West White Rose platform to the existing SeaRose Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel.
This significant contract reflects TechnipFMC’s strong positioning within Canada’s East Coast offshore industry.
The main White Rose field is on the eastern edge of the Jeanne d’Arc basin in water depths of about 393 feet (120 meters).
