"Technip’s objective is to become the reference company in regards to Health, Safety, and the Environment"
Thierry Pilenko, Chairman and CEO
Safety is one of Technip’s strongest values. Our strategy truly reflects our ambition of excellence and our uncompromising standards when it comes to the protection of our people.
Since 2007, Technip has been implementing its “Pulse” program to attain the highest level of safety performance through HSE climate change, awareness raising and training. The program has been cascaded to every level of the organisation - 14,000 people participated in Pulse sessions so far - and has even been expanded to our suppliers and embraced by some of our clients.
Technip safety performance
Technip looks after the health of its employees and that of its partners and sub-contractors personnel. The Group’s health policy focuses on the prevention of risks linked to epidemics, in particular for staff who travel, and common health problems such as musculo-skeletal disorders or vision troubles.
Technip Health & Safety Charter
The top priority of Technip regarding Security is to protect its employees against malevolent acts. To do so, we implement a strategy based on securing all work environments, reinforcing emergency response and crisis management procedures, protection of information and making simple and effective tools available to local security teams.
Technip Security Charter
Technip strives to reduce the environmental footprint of its own vessels, production units and project sites, notably by reducing greenhouse gas emissions, water and power consumption and waste production. We have also implemented a “green office” approach, with for example paper and toner recycling.
Technip Environment Charter
We provide our clients with technological solutions to minimize carbon emissions of their plants, in particular by improving their energy efficiency. Technip is also committed to implement the expertise acquired from its core business in service of renewable energies, and in particular through such projects as the Hywind floating offshore wind turbine for Statoil and the Saint Brieuc offshore wind farm for the French Government.
