Thierry Pilenko named Chairman and CEO of Technip

The Board of Directors of Technip, meeting on Friday, April 27 after the Annual General Shareholder’s Meeting, appointed Thierry Pilenko Chairman and CEO of Technip. He succeeds Daniel Valot, who is retiring. The Board paid homage to Daniel Valot’s contribution to the growth of the Group since 1999. Thierry Pilenko joined Technip on January 15, 2007 as Deputy General Manager, in order to ensure a smooth and effective transition.

The Board also expressed their thanks to Roger Cairns, Miguel Caparros and Pierre Vaillaud, who did not seek to renew their mandates, for the quality of their work as members of the Board.

The Board of Directors determined the composition of its committees:

  • Audit Committee: Daniel Lebègue (Chairman), Jacques Deyirmendjian, Roger M. Milgrim and John O’Leary.
  • Strategic Committee: Jacques Deyirmendjian (Chairman), Olivier Appert, Pascal Colombani, Germaine Gibara and Rolf Erik Rolfsen.
  • Nominations and Compensation Committee: Bruno Weymuller (Chairman), Pascal Colombani, Germaine Gibara and Jean-Pierre Lamoure.
