Technip delivers the Angostura central platform topsides to BHP Billiton and its partners Total and Talisman
Technip announced today that it has completed and delivered a production deck to BHP Billiton and its partners Total and Talisman for the Angostura field in Trinidad & Tobago. It will be installed in a new oil field located approximately 22 miles offshore Trinidad & Tobago in a water depth of 114 feet.
The platform is designed for a throughput of 100,000 BOPD and 325 MMSCFD. The 5,000 ton structure was engineered by Technip Offshore Inc., one of the Group’s U.S. entities based in Houston, Texas, and fabricated at Technip’s Gulf Marine Fabricators yard (GMF) in Ingleside, Texas.
