Technip-Coflexip wins 50 million euro flexible riser contract on Statoil's Kristin field in Norway

Technip-Coflexip (NYSE: TKP and Euronext: 13170, through its Norwegian affiliate Technip Offshore Norge AS, has been awarded by Statoil a contract worth about 50 million euros for the supply of flexible risers for the Kristin Field Development Project.

This contract mainly covers fabrication and installation of 7.4 km of dynamic flexible risers, inclusive of all accessories such as buoyancy elements and riser anchors.

The project management and engineering for the work will be performed by Technip Offshore Norge AS in Oslo, Norway and the fabrication of flexible risers in Le Trait factory in France. The main installation work will be carried out by two of Technip-Coflexip’s advanced DP vessels and are scheduled to be completed in Summer 2005 .
