Technip was awarded by Burgasnefteproekt EOOD (a Lukoil engineering subsidiary) a lump sum services contract, worth approximately €70 million, for the phase 1 of a heavy residue hydrocracking complex to be built at their refinery located in Burgas, Bulgaria.

The contract covers the detailed engineering and procurement services for a 2.5 million tons/year residue hydrocracker based on Axens H-Oil process, as well as amine, sour water stripper and hydrogen production units.
