Contract award with Air Products for a hydrogen facility for Petroplus in Switzerland

Technip has signed an EPC contract with their alliance partner Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., for a 7 million SCFD hydrogen facility for their “Over-The-Fence” facility for the Petroplus Refinery at Cressier in Switzerland.

This unit will be based on a standard design which was developed jointly by Technip and Air Products for this size range of plant. This will be a fully modularized plant to be built in a yard, to be shipped after full testing to reduce erection and commissioning periods.

The contract will be executed by an integrated project team comprising Air Products’ and Technip’s specialists based in The Hague.

This hydrogen facility is the 22nd to be built between Air Products and Technip providing the worldwide refining industry with competitive, reliable, high availability hydrogen plants.
