Key contracts

Subsea

Agbami field, Nigeria: This major contract for a deep-sea project strengthens Technip's leadership position on the Subsea market in West Africa. Technip France provided the project management as well as the engineering and design of flowlines.

MAD6, India: The MAD6 field development is based on production from a turret-moored floating production, storage and offloading vessel (FPSO) from the subsea production systems. This field is located in water 1100m to 1400m deep about 60km off the Indian east coast, east of Kakinada.

Offshore

FPSO Dalia, Angola: Engineering, procurement, fabrication and integration of the 28,000 ton FPSO topsides of the Dalia oil field development off Angola. The FPSO is anchored in 1300m of water. The FPSO's hull is 300m long and 59m wide.

Akpo FPSO, Nigeria: FPSO Akpo is 310m long and 61m wide, and is anchored 1325m deep. It will produce 185,000 barrels equivalent of oil/day, 320 million cubic feet of natural gas per day and will be able to store 2 million barrels of crude oil. Topsides will make it possible to separate and treat water, oil and gas. After Dalia, Akpo confirms Technip France's arrival on the large FPSO market.

Onshore

Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)

Projects in Qatar: As part of a joint-venture, Technip France constructed the six largest LNG units in the world in Qatar, with a production capacity of 7.8 million tons.

Yemen LNG, Yémen: By drawing on its expertise in LNG in the Middle East, Technip and its partners have produced the first LNG plant in Yemen. Refineries

Dung Quat, Vietnam: The first crude oil treatment refinery in Vietnam, Dung Quat is the first refinery built in Vietnam. It has a production capacity of 148,000 barrels a day from a grass-root site. As part of this project, Technip France also constructed crude and refined oil storage tanks as well as the site's marine equipment.

Ethylene

Ethylene unit in Qatar: The plant built in Ras Laffan in Qatar will have a production capacity of 1.3 million tons/year and will be one of the largest units ever built in the world. It will supply ethylene to two polyethylene and alpha olefin units which will be built in Mesaieed in Qatar.

Mines et Metals

Koniambo, New Caledonia: Technip is currently building the Koniambo nickel plant in the north province of New Caledonia, near Koné. This is one of the largest and purest seams of nickel and laterite in the world. The plant will have an annual production capacity of 60,000 tons of nickel in the form of ferrous alloys.

Somair, Niger: In Arlit, in Niger, Technip has constructed a uranium treatment unit using a process of heap leaching in sulfuric acid. This facility, an extension of the existing treatment plant, will increase the uranium production capacity by 800 tons/year.
