Company history

  • The history of Crestech began in 2003 when Technip signed a co-operation agreement with a Nigerian based company to provide engineering support for onshore and offshore oil and gas activities in Nigeria.

This co-operation met with great success, leaving the doors of continuous market demands wedged opened and clients looking for their high quality of service came flooding in. This led to the inspired merger and decision to create the company - Crestech as affiliate of Technip group. Benefiting from Technip resources; their well renowned engineering & management methods as well as tried and tested standards and procedures, Crestech took form on the 3rd of July 2007 to render high quality of service in the engineering sector. Its equity partnership includes:
  • Technip Offshore Nigeria Ltd (TONL): This is a Nigerian based company owned by the Technip group with a share stake of 39%.
  • HighCrest: This is a Holding company owned by Nigerian nationals with a majority share stake of 61%.
  • The benefits of the merger made Crestech a formidable competitor in the design sector. It was set up with first-class engineering offices in the opulent location of Victoria Island – Lagos. Ultra-modern IT and communication systems, state-of-the-art design and engineering software applications, 3D modelling tools (PDS & PDMS).

The massive investment from Technip group put Crestech on the map as the elite in engineering nation wide.
